This historical review seeks to show step by step the cross-age fulfillment of the mission command received from Jesus, especially the different interpretations and practices of immersion of adult creeds and later infant baptism, from the Jordan shore to the present day. Within this, he examines the necessary formation and consummation of the Baptist movement in the world church, from the 16th century to the present day.
