Description
The frame story of the film takes place in 1945, and in connection with the settlements that began with the fall of the fascists, the intricately intertwined careers of Olomo and Alfredo, grandchildren of the lordship, born at the turn of the century but growing up in different rows and growing together. In 1918, when they returned home from the war and then re-sanctified their friends, Alfredo let down Olmo, who was innocently suspected of murdering a child. Their friendship deteriorates, as does that of Alfredo, who leaves the sadistic fascist steward, Attila, free to rebel; only Olmo dares to oppose the latter, but after inciting the peasants against him, he is forced to flee ...
